Privacy notice.
How this initial website handles quotation details and contact enquiries.
Review before publication: This notice describes the demonstration code supplied with the website. Business owners must review and update the notice to match their actual practices, hosting setup, retention policy and applicable law.
What information is collected?
When an active contact or quotation form is submitted, it collects the details entered by the visitor, such as name, email address, telephone number, project location, product quantities and message. Once email delivery is configured, this information is sent to the address designated by the business owner.
Information kept in your browser
The quote-list feature uses your browser’s local storage to remember selected products, quantities and units. The information stays in that browser unless you clear it or submit the enquiry. The site also uses an essential PHP session cookie for form security and rate limiting.
Why it is used
Enquiry information is used to respond to requests and clarify proposed purchases. The demonstration site has no database of customers, no payment collection and no third-party advertising analytics integrated in its source code.
Security and limitations
Enquiries are delivered by the hosting server’s email function if enabled. The website owner should secure hosting, use HTTPS, restrict access to email accounts and establish appropriate information-retention practices. Never include payment-card details, login credentials or other sensitive information in enquiries.
Contact
The business contact email must be published before the website goes live.
